I’m not sure how to tell whether this is a Plex error or Gracenote. CoziTV shows 4 “Will & Grace” episodes running on Friday night, December 1. My Plex DVR has only scheduled 3 of them to record. There is an S8 E9 episode missing from the Plex list. It has the same title as S8 E10 - Von Trapped. Should I report this on the EPG form?
Can you post logs? Settings/Server/Help, click the download logs link. Please make sure debug logging is turned on, verbose logging is off, and Allow Plex Tokens in logs is also off.

Was just going to add to never mind about logs. I am wondering what the 10:30 and 11:00 episodes are supposed to be. According to TheTVDB and IMDB there is only one episode called Von Trapped which is Season 8 Episode 10. The episode that is missing Episode 9 is titled A Little Christmas Queer. I also checked the TVGuide for my area and it shows the same issue with the 10:30 airing being Episode 10 Von Trapped. If Epsiode 9 A Little Christmas Queer is airing at 10:30 and the Gracenote data shows it as Episode 10 Von Trapped it will be recorded as such. My guess since Episode 9 is skipped that the 10:30 airing is actually Episode 9 and has the wrong name and the 11:00 airing is actually episode 10. Looks like you will probably get episode 9 recorded as Von Trapped and will be missing Episode 10. Only suggestion would be if you have a second computer you could temporarily setup with Plex you could schedule a manual recording of the 11:00 show so you get the 10:30 on your main Plex server and the other episode on the other computer. Then verify the recording and rename to episode 9 if that would be appropriate.
This definitely appears to be a guide issue and should be reported using the form. But would not expect it to be resolved by tomorrow night.
Thanks, I have a manual work-around on 2nd (non plex) DVR, no biggie there. I bet Cozi pulled the Xmas episode out to show at some more Xmassy time and didn’t properly update their info to the EPGs.
Would be nice if Plex actually recorded ALL “new and repeat airings” as I have it configured. Even if it labeled the 2nd Von Trapped episode incorrectly I would be able to manually patch it up later.
New and repeat only looks at shows not already in your library. For example, I have almost all Big Bang Theory shows at this point. Plex is now only filling in episodes I don’t have or repeats that are a higher resolution than what I already have. One issue with it recording both in this case would be the second episode (11:00) would overwrite the first recording (10:30) as soon as the recording ended since they are both titled the same.
