I came to the forum, and I see the banner that says “We are aware with issues refreshing EPG and are working to resolve…” but I have a question:
My EPG guide data seems to be refreshing (I can see guide data for quite a while)
My recordings are not showing on the calendar
I have done a bit of digging, and it appears that none of my scheduled recordings are showing up because none of the shows show as ‘HD’. only SD. But when I go to the guide, and filter on HD Channels, I see the shows. But when I click on the show, it says it’s ‘SD’
What gives?
There was an issue that got resolved by 15th November impacting the Guide Data. After the issue was fixed, a manual guide refresh would have been needed to recover and ensure the guide data is complete
If you did that on the 15th or after that date, then your guide data should be complete and we can look into the HD/SD issue you mentioned. Let me have some details of the shows/episodes channels /times and a copy of the EPG database. Look for files with names starting with tv.plex in the Databases directory within the Application Support area
But please do that using the current beta 1.14.0.5468
If you did not manually update the guide after the outage, then the data may be incomplete.
I just finished updating to: 1.14.0.5468 and manually refreshing all the EPG data, and the problem still exists.

I think we will find the issue being the already raised HD/SD issue and notr relating to incomplete guide data. There are already a few forum threads on HD not being recorded when available
Plex Media Server 1.14.1.5487 has just been released as Beta. It has a fix for the HD Only issue where it gets ignored when selected for scheduled recordings
