Latest versions of everything and the guide provided from Plex is missing so much data. LArge percentage of the HD channels from 101 to 111 are missing. Also most of the Sky Sports guide info is missing along with a few of the sky cinema channel guides. I have deleted and recreated the DVR in plex and still no better. This is causing recordings to fail and I cant create recording schedules as there is no guide data for a lot of the channels I want to record from
Server Version#: 1.22.1.4200
Player Version#:
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomerun Duo and Quadro
Guide/Lineup name: BT TV
Using XMLTV?:
Channel number/Name: 101-111
if i view all channels and look at channels 101 to 111 then i see the guide data. If i select HD Channels from the drop down then there is no guide data displayed for 101 to 111 and yet the channels are shown as they are HD.
I’m seeing same goofy behavior. If filtering for HD channels only, a whole slew of them show “unknown airing” across the board. Flipping back to all channels, then the shows appear. Not a very good experience, who wants SD after all.
I’m getting the same thing. My server version is different, mine is Version 1.22.0.4163.
I even tried to refresh the guide and that didn’t change anything.
Same here I feel like I’m getting more SLOW QUERY messages in the console than normal
and my storage for the server hasn’t changed as best as I can tell.
I don’t normally get this many in a row like this and I’ve never seen ones over 1000ms.
I’m experiencing the “unknown airing” in my guide also. It started within the last couple of weeks. All guide data looks correct when showing “All Channels”. However, when changing to “HD Channels Only” almost all channels display “unknown airing”.
I noticed the error and just updated to PSM: 1.22.1.4200-c073686f2. Problem remains the same.
I’m in the US Chicago area with a local cable provider and it seems to be on both the latest and previous server versions.
My server is running Ubuntu server 18.04.5 with PMS 1.22.1.4228.
The DVR is using the HD Homerun Prime with a cablecard.
I pay the Plex Pass so that I can record TV. Currently recordings are failing due to this HD guide bug. Can I get a pro rata refund for the service I’m paying for and not receiving?
@elan any chance you can get someone to look into this as it seems to be a global issue or at the very least not specific to any particular OS, hardware, platform, region etc but seems to affect users that are using Plex Guide rather than custom xml guide.
I have Plex running on my Synology with DSM 6.2.3 and am seeing the same thing. I tried updating to the latest version yesterday -1.22.1.4228 and deleting my HD Homerun and re-adding it but nothing helped. Last night I could manually start the recording once the show started and it seems like that worked however the scheduled recordings failed.
Plex Media Server: 1.22.1.4200-c073686f2
Synology NAS: DS218+ w/ DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 3

I’m pretty sure that I’m using the new guide service, as I deleted my DVR a couple of months ago and then added it back. Anyone know where to find this information?
My best guess is that the problem started one or two Plex upgrades ago.
It does not seem to affect the guide if “All Channels” is selected. Only when the “HD Channels Only” is selected.
i have no idea how you know if you are using the new plex guide service. I deleted and recreated the DVR a few days ago when i noticed this issue so i should definitely have the latest guide service.
I agree, i have noticed that when looking at all channels, you can see the programme info on the HD channels but look at the HD channels only and it Unknown Airing
