The channel mappings available from gracenote are totally wrong for Northern Utah. I have been trying to fix this and watching the forums for this for months now. Makes setting up the DVR useless. EPG works on Emby, Sagetv and nextpvr just fine. Give an option to use whatever epg source we want.
I keep reading lots of forum post about this problem all over the world. Please fix it.
You can already use a different EPG source. When setting up the DVR use the link for XMLTV instead of entering a postal code.
Even if I use a proper epg, it is the channel mappings that are wrong.
Example 2.1 is kutvdt - this is correct
2.2 is k25ixd2 - This is wrong, kutvdt2 is the proper mapping
This is happening with numerous channels. The HDHomerun tuner sees the channels properly and maps them correctly or gives me the proper ones to map to. Plex does not it gives only the wrong ones with no option to pick the right one.
Screenshots of exactly what you are seeing would be helpful. From my OTA setup everything matches up correctly in my area.
