Setting up PVR EPG DTV tuner does not recognise Australia Northern Territory postcodes. They are a four digit number that begin with 08
AFAIK Plex doesn’t have epg data for any part of AU. You need to provide your own.
I’ve looked into this further, and it isn’t a postcode-parsing problem. Plex’s guide service simply has no lineups mapped to Northern Territory postcodes.
Using the server’s lineup lookup (/livetv/epg/countries/aus/tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud/lineups?postalCode=…):
- NT postcodes 0800, 0810, 0820, 0830, 0840, 0850 (Katherine) and 0870 (Alice Springs) all return 0 lineups. So does 830 without the leading zero.
- For comparison, 2000 (Sydney), 5000 (Adelaide), 4870 (Cairns) and 2600 (Canberra) each return 4 lineups.
A Darwin lineup does exist: “Fetch - Darwin (69 channels)”, lineup ID 5fc76c607dc1e8002d48a663. Its channels are Darwin’s own feeds (e.g. call signs 7SCDANZ and 9DARANZ). But it’s only returned for postcode 4825 (Mount Isa, Queensland), not for any NT postcode. NT users therefore can’t find it in DVR setup.
The fix would be to map the existing Darwin lineup, and any Freeview/Local Broadcast lineups for Darwin, to NT postcodes 08XX.
