Episode name is changes to the series name after metadata refresh

Hey!

I have a pretty annoying problem with just one TV Show, Game of Thrones. Whenever I refresh the metadata for the episodes themselves, the Episode name would change to what the show is called.

So for example the show is called “Game of Thrones”. The first episode is called “Winter is Coming” (or in german “Der Winter naht”). Now every episode that I refresh will be called “Game of Thrones”. This show is the only one that has this problem.

I have already tried changing the Metadata provider to TVDB and back to TMDB and also the Plex Dance, but nothing has helped.

I can’t currently look at your logs… does the show maybe contain some embedded metadata tags that Plex might use?

I checked with Mediainfo to see if there is a embedded title or similar, but there isn’t one

I also had the option to prefer local metadata disabled beforehand, so it shouldn’t use one either way, I think.:
