Episode titles are not adapted to how to fix

Episode titles are not adapted. How to fix it?
I use TMDB to match animation “https://www.themoviedb.org/
The first season has thumbnails and titles that are normally adapted to each episode.
But at the beginning of the second season, the thumbnails and titles will not match.
Later I fixed the thumbnail and the link but the title didn’t fit.
Please tell me how to solve it

Also, can the title of the link to TDMB be in traditional Chinese? I don’t know why it matches TDMB but the introduction is the same. The title of each episode is in simplified Chinese, but not in traditional Chinese?

This is the first season of red circles with links to TMDB episode titles

This is the archive of the first season

But at the beginning of the second season, the thumbnails and titles did not match.Later I fixed the thumbnail and the link but the title didn’t fit.

This is the file name for Season 2

The data showing for your files in Plex seems to be based on embedded metadata within those files.

Let’s start by updating the file names / organization to follow the naming schema of Plex… when done you might need to perform a Plex Dance for Plex to pick things up properly.

https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/

What is the correct name? Only the title remains

Isn’t it possible to use a title like this? What is the right way to display the title?

Can you configure the library to not use/prefer embedded metadata? It looks like what you get is written into the file by the app used to rip/transcode the media.

I have already setting

Those server-wide agent settings only apply to the legacy agents. The current-generation agents are configured per library:

  1. Click on the library‘s context menu and select Manage Library > Edit…
  2. Go to the Advanced tab
  3. Disable Prefer local metadata

You might need to refresh the show‘s metadata for the change to take effect

Sorry, English is not my native language, so I didn’t find this option.
Which one is it?

Then some of my other animations also have this problem where the thumbnail doesn’t match the title.

Oh… You’re actually still using a legacy agent (you should look into updating that in the future). In that case, the server-wide agent settings from your previous post should still apply… however they’re less granular:

  1. open Settings > [Server Name] > Agents
  2. select the Shows and The Movie Database tabs
  3. disable Local Media Assets (TV)
  4. go to the show and refresh its metadata

Keep in mind the Local Media Assets option is also managing the use of local posters etc. with your library. You cannot have/drop one without the other.

But the PLEX on my NAS is up to date.

You mean like this?

No. Plex have introduced new agents for movies and tv shows that provide more features. At some point your server will probably have asked you if you want to upgrade your library to the new agents (as the others won’t be supported endlessly).

But I just did what you did and the thumbnails and captions worked.

look!~~

Some of my other thumbnails and titles have problems with “mp3tag” to remove all the tags, then the naming rules are in accordance with the rules of the PLEX file, then refresh the interpretation of the data are successful!

Anyway, thanks for your support, now the thumbnails and titles are finally working.
Even if they don’t work, I know what to do to get the thumbnails and titles back.
Finally, we’ve solved this nuisance.~~~ thanks tom80H you
