Having erratic behavior when watching certain live TV programming. I see it almost every time whenever I watch Jeopardy at 7:30 pm EST. I used to record it but thought that might have contributed to the problem, so I stopped recording it.
I’m seeing the program start normally, then after a few maybe 5-10 seconds it hesitates and jumps backward to the beginning. This repeats a couple of times, then gives me a “Playback Error” and stops. If I now go out to the guide and select it again, it seems okay for the rest of the program.
It happens occasionally on other programs from HdHomerun but I see it the most as described here with Jeopardy.
[I tried using the Samsung TV Plex app but it isn’t working right either. I just hangs and locks up that channel. To get out of it, I change to a different channel and then back to 2.1.]
The server is running on a Windows 11 mini PC: Beeling EQ12 Intel N100 (3.4 Ghz) 16gb DDR4 RAM with 512GB SSD.
I’m getting frustrated and I hope Plex was the right decision for an important part of my cable-cutting solution!
