Other topics on this exist, but the only fixes I’ve ever seen are A) have a plex employee punt the certificate generation process or B) shut down your PMS instance for at least 24 hours and hope it works afterwards.

Are there other options for fixing this issue?

@tivac

I’ve deleted all the old, abandoned, servers from your account

I’ve also reset the certificate for your current server.

Please stop PMS, wait a few minutes. start PMS.

It will get a new certificate as it starts

Thank you! That’s done it.

Out of curiousity, how many old servers were there? I update my Synology 5-6x a year by manually installing the latest Plex server package, but I’ve only ever run a Plex Server in two places that I can think of.

There were some 6 other instances (different names / repeated names)
The majority were about 7 years ago. A couple were 4 years ago

Hi there - encountering the same issue with certs not renewing on one of my instances. Tried all the normal fixes/workarounds, suspect I may also have a hung renewal process.

Please advise…

@mmmenezes

“Karen” is reset. You may restart the server
