so i am nowhere near the limit for friends but i am getting “request failed with status code 422” when trying to add a friend in Plex. any idea whats going on?

Make sure that the total number of shares doesn’t reach the 3-digit numbers.
That number is counted across all servers you have, and also those you no longer have.
So be sure to remove older server instances from your account. https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/pms

Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou Thats gold. I did not know they were there and I have wanted to remove old servers for a long time. totally fixed me. My apologies for the late reply. I kulled a bunch of friends that were not using it and fixed it that way but your tip was a home run. Thanks Otto
Hi, I tried the solution of cleaning the server section but I still have the same problem … can someone help me ?
Your invited user needs to:
- confirm the email address of his plex account
- accept your invitation
