Error Communicating with Plex Server Since Yesterday

I’ve been using the Plex app on my X1 for months, and running the Media server on my laptop with 0 problems until yesterday. I started getting an error of “There was an error communicating with the server [my server name]”.

I have scoured the help and support pages for hours, logged in and out of every device, checked my firewall rules, reinstalled on both devices. Is there something I’m missing? Why would this happen all of a sudden?

Oh, I should add that the Media Server is up and running with no problems on my laptop still, they are on the same subnet on my router, and I’m logged in on both devices.

Narrowed it down to Kaspersky, now to run down that rabbit hole
