Hello, is there a way to address this error?
‘Recording failed. Please check your tuner or antenna.’ Put succinctly in this video here as well.
Error occurs when returning to the guide and selecting another channel.
Previously reported in a few other topics and posts:

Player Version#: 8.12.2.22756
Tuner Make/Model: HD Homerun Prime, Model: HDHR3-CC

Using XMLTV?: No.
Channel number/Name: Every one
Since update 8.12.2.22756 every time I try to change to a different channel while I’m in the guide watching another channel I get kicked to an “An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.”, or it just hangs until I back out.

I have a new issue now when switching between channels. clicking on a different channel whilst playing live TV comes up with an “Error: Recording failed. Please check your tuner or antenna.” error. Trying again, when no other channel is streaming is fine.

Fire Stick 4k “crashes” back to guide when switching live tv channels. This happens almost every time I change a channel. I get an error on the screen that says “Error Recording Failed. Please check your tuner or antenna”.
Logs are attached, but this is what happens when I change from channel 6.1 to 5.1

Recently procured CCwGTV to look at replacing MiBox S’s.
Using live tv drvr I can watch a channel but if I switch to another channel the chromecast will come up with an error “Recording failed, Please check your tuner or antenna”
Hitting ok, which effectively puts me in the position of nothing playing, I can select the same channel and it works.
Other devices, 2 x MiBox 4 S’s - have no issue, a Fire TV Stick 4k and a Roku 4k - none of which have an issue with my environment.
I’ve even tried …
BUMP - still no change with recent releases.
I’m getting the same thing here.
Don’t have the exact version numbers handy but I have not encountered this issue since the updates in the last week.

And the recent updates (in the last day or two) has broken it again

Does anyone know if there has been any progress with this? I tried installing some of the versions from late July and early August; however, I was not able to replicate your temporary success @wingede .
Hiya,
Everything was a short fix, I did seem to have more success with a particular version (can’t recall). Which was quickly undone less than a week later.
I have had issues for over 2 years with Live TV in plex, purchased new clients and it just seems one problem after another. I’ve sort of lost faith in the product despite it being stable for non Live TV content.
Good luck!
@sa2000 @sixones - Hello both, do either of you know if this bug has been acknowledged by the developers?
