I have been having an headache in getting a recent anime series I have to work. I have wiped my plex server including registry, plex folder etc… in an effort to solve this problem and it does not work. The series runs largely fine until the end ~5min of each show when the transcoder fails somewhat randomly (no specific frame) with error “Conversion failed. The transcoder exited due to an error.”. I reviewed the logs and I believe the error is associated with this fault below, as it’s my only “Error” in the logs.
The file has various subtitles and audio streams being an anime (Japanese + English etc…) otherwise the copy is fine and play well using a traditional player, plex struggles for unknown reasons.
Error points to possible memory issue, my computer has plenty of memory available (16gb). Notably it is running Windows 11 22000.120 (not sure if that matters) w/ i7-8700k/1080 TI
