ERROR - Unable to find client profile for device; platform=Vizio SmartCast

During remote streaming the vizio smart cast app experienced a high level of buffering. Checking the CPU utilization was below 20%. I see repeated errors in the logs below:

The movie eventually did play but only after numerous buffering errors.

That message is normal and can be ignored. The server doesn’t have a profile for the device because we handle the profile in the app.

There are a number of reasons why buffering could happen. The bandwidth of the connection or the capabilities of the particular TV (e.g. high bitrate content is sometimes too much for some TVs) are a couple of possibilities.
