Error when I delete and create again a library (lot of media missing in library)

Server Version#: Plex Media Server 1.20.4.3517-ab5e1197c

Goodnight.
I had a directory added as Library to Plex with some series chapters.
The fact is that I have added new ones after a couple of months (and after a couple of server updates) and I have seen that it did not recognize them.

I have tried removing the library and adding it again and, of everything I already had in the library, it only recognized two folders and the files that were inside them.

The ones it recognizes are of the type:
FOLDER - Marcella - Season 2 [HDTV 720p] [Cap.201_208] [AC3 5.1 Spanish]
FILE - Marcella 720p 2x01 [www [dot] downloads2020 [dot] com] .mkv

The ones it no longer recognizes are of the type:
FOLDER - Marcella - Season 3 [HDTV 720p] [Cap.301_308] [AC3 5.1 Spanish] [www [dot] PCTreload [dot] COM]
FILE - Marcella - Season 3 [HDTV 720p] [Cap.301] [AC3 5.1 Spanish] [www [dot] PCTreload [dot] COM] .mkv
(I put [dot] instead of ‘.’ because if not it won’t let me post)

As I said, I already had these files in the library before but now, after the server updates, it doesn’t recognize them and I don’t know why.
I think it has to do with the name of the files.
But it seems strange to me since Plex Server, a couple of months ago, if it recognized them without problem.

Does anyone know why it can be and give me a solution that does not go through renaming the files?
They are a lot of folders and files.

Thank you very much for your help! (And sorry if I make mistakes writing in English. It is not my native language)
Cheers

not really. there are plenty of apps like Filebot which will batch rename things.

Temporally I solve this with a downgrading to 1.18.7.2457-77cb9455c server version (2020/03)

But I think that it’s a bug in new versions because, if developers wants to sell it as an new upgrade in the scanners… wrong way.

This nomenclature always work for me in Plex. I don’t understand why in new version it changes.

Thank you for your answer.

According to the naming guid, it’s Season XX and not Season 3 [HDTV 720p] [Cap.301_308] [AC3 5.1 Spanish] [www [dot] PCTreload [dot] COM]

So you really should rename your sesons folders

But this is illogical.

With version 1.20 of the PMS it fails.
With version 1.18 of the PMS it works.

So I conclude that it is a change between versions.
A bad change, the way I see it.

In my case, PMS finds folders and files but cannot identify them with that nomenclature, so I have to correct this point by hand.
Also, with movies this does not usually happen to me, only with series.
Yes, I know that it is similar to using a tool like Filebot to rename the files, but I don’t understand why not continue to allow this option to the user in version 1.20 of the PMS.

I hope they change it.
If not, as much as I don’t want to, it will be my turn to change and start using Filebot.

Thanks again for your responses.
Best regards

Well, The way I see it, by making scanners and agents following the naming guide more precisely, they should increase their hit-rate for correct scanning/matching

Points of view.

You can always leave the strict option (1.20) by default and allow the less strict option (1.18) to be used by changing the PLEX configuration.

What I don’t think anyone likes is that, from one day to the next, PLEX stops recognizing files from you as it did the day before.

But it’s just an opinion.
