we are looking into this. Do you see the invite in settings users. Can you try to invite again. we are looking at back end. does the user have an account already or are you inviting via email?

I am issuing a new invite now via the web client.
Go to “settings / users / friends”
Click “invite friend”
invited "nicki.symington@gmail.com"
Done. timestamp now UK 16:31
Oh crap, that user is already a “home” user. I’ll have to try with a new user.
I’ll need to find an email address not in the system and get back to you…

you need to set your notification preferences. it does not email by default
You will get this error if you try to open the invite link using a browser that is already signed into Plex. Go to http://app.plex.tv/ and sign out then open the invite link using the same browser.
