I signed up for Plex Pass yesterday with the intention of cutting cords. Plex will be the way in which I access local TV and record it when needed. I have the Hauppage Dual-HD USB to hook up my antenna to my nVidia shield pro. I am using the built in 500GB storage so the Shield is my Plex server.
Every single time I try to watch TV, within several minutes I receive the error “playback has stopped because the connection to the plex media server has been lost”.
I have searched these forums and The Googles and I see a lot of other people with the same issue, a few workarounds that seem to work for some people but not for others. But, no real fix or a response from Plex. This has been going on for years, apparently. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
