Error using live TV

Server: Zotac IQ-01
Client: NVidia Shield
Issue: Live TV frequently fails- “connection to the server lost”, but this behavior does not happen for other content on Plex- just the Live TV…

Others have reported needing to ‘clear cache’ to get the shield working.

Have you already configured DVR on your server, and can see ‘Program Guide’ in the Web? If so, that’s the place to start.

DVR IS configured and functioning, I even did some recordings previously. In the failure, if I retry enough times it will eventually work. I am _guessing _that it is either a failure due to AC3 needing to be transcoded or the like (timing out due to transcode?)

I am not going to investigate any further until after a couple of weeks due to my schedule- just wanted to put it out there…

I am having the same problem, I can play other media , Music , saved videos ect. But when ever I try to watch Live tv I get “Connection to Server Lost”
my set up :
PMS on windows 10 . Note I have another thread going where I cannot record on my windows 10 box
HDHomeRun Prime: Only trying to watch non-DRM channels
Shield TV ( new 2017 version)

Yes, logs always help to debug issues like this.

Plex Media Server.log and Plex Tuner Service.log.
