Error when trying to access a shared library

Hi, I have someone that is trying to share their library with me and they used my username as well as the email address associated with my account. In both instances, I never received the email from Plex. I had him copy/paste the link it also provides and when I clicked on it and signed into my account, I received a message saying:

Oops, unable to accept the invitation…The invitation was sent to a different email address. Please sign in to the correct Plex account or create a new Plex account under the email address to which the invitation was sent

At this point Im not really sure what to do. Has anyone experienced this before?

The message literally says they sent the invite to another Plex account. Only the correctly invited account can accept. Can you PM me your friends’ Plex email or username (and your Plex username or email) so I can check where the invite went?
