I’ve invited my friend to access my libraries (16th friend, not a novice), but he cannot accept the invitation without an error message:
“The invitation was sent to a different email address. Please sign in to the correct Plex account or create a new Plex account under the email address to which the invitation was sent”.
HOWEVER, he has only had a single account he’s ever utilized and I’ve confirmed the correct email address was leveraged. Please advise.
The email address that you used to extend the invitation has no plex user account connected to it.
If your friend is already signed into a plex user account, then they didn’t tell you the correct email address of that account.
Direct them to this page https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/account where they can see which email is actually used by their account.
Try again; he already signed in and validated his email; again, it is the ONLY email ever used.
It appears you had a typo in that address.
That domain is quite likely not @yhahoo...
