Error when trying to play TIDAL through Plex web app

I use my laptop to access Plex via the web player. I have a Plex+Tidal subscription. When I try to play an item from Tidal though, I get the following error:
Playback Error: An error occurred trying to play this item. Please make sure content from TIDAL is not already playing on another device.
Error code: h4 (Not Supported)

This is very strange behaviour for two reasons:

  1. I am not playing content from Tidal on any other devices
  2. I am able to play Tidal content through the Plex app on my Android phone.

Clearly there is some kind of issue with the web player. It doesn’t seem to be a server issue because I am actually able to access Tidal content through Plex on other platforms. I have tested this on both Brave browser (Chrome-based) and Microsoft Edge. Behaviour is the same whether I am accessing the web player from the Linux machine it is running on or on any other machine.

Hoping for some clues!

I have the exact problem as described above - have there been any responses to this? Have you found any other avenue for support from Plex - or Tidal?

Same issue here using MAC OS. TIDAL is fine on all of my other devices, but get the error code (Playback Error

An error occurred trying to play this item. Please make sure content from TIDAL is not already playing on another device.

Any other ideas?
