Errors Downloading over even a stable network to Android App

I’m having very patchy sometimes unusable service on an Android device downloading music from server. Logs sent via DM.

I tried downloading the Who just now. It had the “There was an error …” text in the app but seemed to be continuing with the download in the notifications. Now is showing an error everywhere and expect I will have to delete.

I have server on LAN and phone on connected wifi. It has random MAC address turned off.

I did manage to download just fine and quite quickly using a USB cable as a hotspot and disabling other server networks. This seemed to force Plex to use the loopback network on the phone.

How do I get logs from phone? Are you interested seeing them? Do I need to turn on debugging on the server or anything?

Got the log. Your downloads are running into an “unknown error”. This is something we’re seen before but haven’t identified the error yet. We are still investigating.

I am facing the same problem on my android app, it says initializing downloads, but then gives a notification that an unknown error has occurred.

Try my workaround with the USB? I got all my files organised for playing offline in about 30mins. Still needs fixing but now I’m not that worried when it gets sorted.
