As it says in the title, every time I update a library the server reacquires all metadata. Which means I lose all manual changes and order of files added. Every time. Not only do I lose metadata that I have manually changed, it takes ages to go through all my files. This is incredibly frustrating. This has only started doing it recently that I have noticed, but I can’t point to a date (or update) that started it.
The server is running on my desktop PC, Win 10 64bit, server is up to date. The libraries are on mapped drives on my NAS. I have disabled the “Empty trash automatically after every scan” setting, as that popped up in a Google search.
Any ideas?
