Hi there, im running my Plex server on my Mac and I’ve noticed that when my library updates it will randomly re add shows/movies as if ive just added them.
Not always the same shows/movies but it is quite annoying as when it does this it is also resetting all the meta data including anything that was changed and the padlock set so it shouldn’t update.
Also note I store my files on a connected NAS and as a result I have the “Empty Trash After Every Scan” box unticked as a precaution for if im ever resetting the NAS (after an update for example) I wouldn’t want Plex to scan and decide ive deleted everything and it to delete all the meta data
This has prevented that from ever happening however this other issue persists.
Appologies if this has been brought up before, ive been googling to no avail and the wife (who is renaming every single title to have caps coz she is who she is) is ready to throw everything out the window… including myself if I can’t fix it
