I have, lets say, 30 different collections made. I am trying to do, what I thought, was something very simple but doesn’t seem to work…hide a specific collection from showing in the “Library” section.
Example, I have an “Abbott and Costello” movie collection that I DON’T want to show in the main library BUT I want all the other collections to show in the Library.
How is this accomplished?
You can hide individual collections from the library view.
Edit (the collection) > Advanced > Collection Mode > Hide.
I’m currently using this for movies of a franchise where I only got a single item.
However that means the movies of that collection will show in the library instead.
There’s no way to hide movies of a collection as well as the collection itself from the library.
That was the first thing that I tried but that still shows all the movies in the “library” section. I tried setting it for “hide items in this collection” and “hide collection” and neither of those worked.
I don’t mind if the collection itself shows in the “library” I am just trying to hide all the movies of that specific collection and neither of those options work
EDIT: never mind. I figured it out. The main library setting has to be set to “hide items which are in collections”.
