Original File Naming done this way so anyone will know what year movies came out ergo which one to watch first if they so chose to.
Appleseed - 2004 - 1080p/Appleseed.mkv
Appleseed Alpha - 2014 - 1080p/Appleseed Alpha.mkv
Appleseed Ex Machina - 2007 - 1080p/Appleseed Ex Machina.mkv
However, PLEX will NOT recognize it unless I remove the year from the folders
Appleseed - 1080p/Appleseed.mkv
Appleseed Alpha - 1080p/Appleseed Alpha.mkv
Appleseed Ex Machina - 1080p/Appleseed Ex Machina.mkv
I am wondering if there are any special symbols to use in the name that will tell the scanner or agent to ignore, but still pull up metadata successfully. I have tried several variations as listed below
Appleseed Movies/Appleseed - [2004] - 1080p
Appleseed Movies/Appleseed Alpha - [2014] - 1080p
Appleseed Movies/Appleseed Ex Machina - [2007] - 1080p
Appleseed Movies/Appleseed - (2004) - 1080p
Appleseed Movies/Appleseed Alpha - (2014) - 1080p
Appleseed Movies/Appleseed Ex Machina - (2007) - 1080p
2004 - Appleseed - 1080p/Appleseed.mkv
