Hi can anyone help please I use Windows 8 with express vpn ,my plex server used to run smoothly when I was connected to my vpn but all of a sudden it wont work.plex says it can’t find the server when express vpn is connected . 
i found the awnser to this problem myself if you click on options in the express vpn app and untick the box that says enable network lock (internet kill switch) it all works fine through the vpn just a heads up for any other express vpn users

I’m happy to say that this DID work for me.
It didn’t work for me and I tried with everything uncheck the kill switch… I have expressvpn and im frustrating… I spoke to tech support but thy said they cant help me because of plex they dont do support like that so they said I have to do port forwarding but I dont know how to set up port forwarding… please help me out solve this issues thanks

I use the built in router and an android tv plex on nvidia shield.
Seems NO ONE uses this set up. I found no one that can help
I am very happy to respond that this worked for me as well! The box is labeled differently now, but seems to be working perfectly.
