So I am using swag with autoproxy for a lot of containers, only a handful are externally accessible, but only plex is affected.
So if an external user goes to https://plex.domain.com for the first time, plex responds asks for auth, logs in, then plex complains about Secure Connection Failed. An error occurred during a connection to plex.domain.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR, if you try and access via app.plex.tv you get a similar error Unable to connect to "Plex" securely
I dont have anything special setup. Autoproxy deals with SWAG config for plex, CF for plex is DNS only, local FW port forwards port 443 to SWAG. At the same time as plex complains, other external services are accessible.
In plex, I have set Custom server access URLs: https://plex.domain.com:443 and Remote access: Disabled
I can recreate the error by jumping on different vpn servers. Internally where I have a DNS rewrite to point to SWAG, everything is fine.
Any help would be great thanks. Appears it’s triggered when you Auth with Plex.tv. custom URL appears on the server identity on https://plex.tv/devices.xml
