Today I update to latest Android 7.10.0 and it have “NEW external subtitle offset adjustment support” but how does it work.
First, make sure you’re running PMS version >= 1.14.1.
Play a video with external subtitles (or on-demand subtitles). Go to Settings
->Subtitles
, then select Adjust offset
button on the bottom of the dialog. Note that this button is only visible when direct playing and for external subtitles.
The offset will be saved to your PMS, so the next time you play this video, it will be applied automatically. It will also be applied when transcoding.
Thanks for the help Marekszulik.
Won’t work here. No menu
If you don’t see the menu, make sure you are on the latest beta, direct playing and that the subtitles are external.
Same here, I can’t find the menu…
What exactly do you mean by

make sure you are on the latest beta
[/quote]?
As I read it the latest Android release 7.10.0 has the sub offset adjustment feature. So what beta are you talking about?
I too cannot find the Adjust offset button in the Android client when direct playing and I am also on the latest PMS release 1.14.1.5488.
This thread was posted in the beta section of the forum and this feature was only in beta at the time of the post you’re referring to.
The subtitle offset adjustment is currently in Plex Pass preview. It will be coming to non-Plex Pass users, stay tuned for that!
I see the ADJUST OFFSET option in my FIRE TV Plex. But when I make adjustments, I see no changes. They go in 50 ms increments. I’ll do as much as a 1000 just so I can see any reactions, but no changes. Is the change suppose to be instantaneous? Or, are we supposed to stop the movie, restart or something?
