Extras Not in Any Sort Order

Extras in a Scenes folder aren’t sorting in any order using Plex TV Series Agent\Scanner. I tried a few different variations and each time it seems be sorted randomly. Any help with getting them in a specific order would be appreciated.

The files are in Path: \Anime Series\Macross\Scenes (“Anime Series” is Library root)

I’d really like these in a specific order. Suggestions?

The article for naming extras doesn’t really mention sorting.

Known issue.
I understand Plex is working on this – though I’m not aware of any ETA

Gotcha. Not a huge deal then; I can wait for a bug fix. Do you know if it’s related to the known bug with Extras row disappearing on app.plex.tv and other Web interfaces after playback? Part of a broader “extras bugs” thing maybe?

Just a note for tracking that released Beta 1.23.3.4692 does not include the bug fix for sorting.

Row disappearing is client related bug with web\desktop clients (other discussion).

While I’m certainly looking forward to this fix, I’m not holding my breath for it to make the cut anytime soon.

It’s definitely a minor concern - just one I’ll have on my personal “board” to keep an eye on.

Since there was a release right after the topic came up I just wanted to note it but won’t be doing continual “not fixed yet” posts.

Glad I found this. I’ve got some extras for a 4 season show and season 2’s extras keep showing up at the end for some reason. Hopefully it gets fixed soon, but I won’t hold my breath.
