Extras showing up in Movies

My local extras that are located in the proper folders for my movies are showing up as individual movie files in the Movies view.

Does anyone know how to stop individual extras like Behind the Scenes, Trailers to not show up as individual movies and be kept as extras within the actual movie.

How are the files named/organized. Can you tell us about one specific movie’s extras

It seems to be happening with my Anime movies, like I have a movie called Appleseed Alpha in a folder called Appleseed Alpha. In that folder, I have a sub folder titled “Behind the Scenes” and there is one video file inside Behind the Scenes sub folder titled “The Making of Appleseed Alpha”

Structure is:

Anime (folder)
Movies (sub folder)
Appleseed Alpha (movies folder)
Appleseed Alpha.mkv
Behind the Scenes (Extras folder)
Making of Appleseed Alpha.mkv

I am running the latest version of Plex Server.

It does show up as an extra inside the movie but also as an individual movie in the view that shows all of my Anime Movies.

All of my extras for the most part are ones that I have extracted from discs.

Just to be sure, the folder you used for the library set up is just “Anime Movies” correct?

I need to edit something, I have a folder called Anime then a folder within Anime called Movies that stores all of my Anime movies (don’t know if that makes a difference)

I see you edited structure above. If it it like that then the “movies” sub folder is what should be used as the library location. not “Anime”

If I moved all of my Anime movie folders up one level so that they fall under Anime folder would that possibly fix the issue?

It should if Movies was by itself in your anime folder. If you have Anime/movies and Anime/TV then you wold need to move that TV folder

Moved the movie folders into a main folder called Anime Movies and it is working, all of my extras are not showing up as individual movies.
