F*ck Plex!!! Thery are so greedy and money-hungry. They JUST raised the price of the lifetime Plex pass just 1 year ago from $119 to $249, now theyre gonna charge $750?!?! So in just 1 year they raised the price from $119 to $749, effectively taking poor people out of the equation. Not gonna have to save for 2 or 3 years to afford a lifetime Plex Pass. $249 is tough, but can be done with some sacrifices over the course of a year. $749 is so overpriced that I cant even fathom paying that price. Way to alienate most of your users and cater only to people who have so much money that they can afford to pay more than double the cost of a dedicated server. Disappointed, because I have been raving about Plex for decades. Now I’m gonna trash Plex every damn opportunity I get. I will go out of my way to make those opportunities. This price increase is so drastic that its insulting. 630% price increase in just 12 months. I hope this price increase, as insulting as it is, signifies the end of Plex. In 30 seconds I went from Plex being one of my most favorite tools of all-time, to f*cking hating the company with a passion.
