I had downloaded subtitles while watching the first 6 episodes of Jessica Jones season 1. I was watching on my Roku Ultra. I have the latest server update installed on my Mac Mini M1. The previous episodes had the subtitles downloaded, no problem. Each time, I chose the first subtitle in the search on Open Subtitles. This time, I got an error message from the Plex app on the Roku. It said “Something went wrong while trying to download the subtitle.” Very unhelpful.
Then I tried starting Plex from Safari. When I tried downloading the same subtitle on the web, it said “Failed to download subtitle.” So this happens on the web, and also on the Roku.
Any suggestions to get around the error?
