Failed to run the package service error / DS216+II

PMS Version#: 1.19.2.2702-776106bc6
Synology Version#: DS216+II / DSM 6.2.2-24922

Plex was working fine in the morning, but hours later when i went to use it, nothing was loading on my dashboard etc. I went onto my NAS to check and the package was stopped and i was getting the “Failed to run the package service error” every time i tried to run it.
I’ve rebooted, shutdown and restarted, i’ve uninstalled PMS and reinstalled but i’m still getting the same error.

Any help would be really appreciated.

Logs attached. Thank you.

Thank you.

The database was corrupted (usually an abrupt power-off / interruption can cause this).

Hi,

Thank you for the help. I’m having some issues with steps 6 and 7.
I move the file to a different folder and rename it to have -copy at the end, and then move it back.
It then says to rename this to the original proper name, but i am unable to do so as i get the error “unable to do so, please choose a different name”

Ignore me, realised what i was doing wrong. This has resolved the issue now, Thank you again for your help.

I am SUPER frustrated. I have the DS418. Everything with Plex was running perfectly fine up until today when I updated the Synology Software. Now every time I attempt to open plex from the packages in Synology it says “Failed to run the package services.” I’ve followed directions on uninstalling and reinstalling Plex, removing corrupt files, checking updates of Plex and DSM…you name it. Nothing has changed. I was looking forward to enjoying some movies tonight with the family but now can’t. Can someone please help?

I’m having the same issue since updating the DSM on both a 1515 and a 1515+.

Logs are attached.
