Synology DS1019+ - Failed to Run Package Service after transfer of PMS DB from Mac

Server Version#: 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238
Player Version#:

I just transferred some 11GB of Plex Media Server files from my Mac Mini server from Application Support (minus Plug-Ins, per florian’s writeup here: and this Plex forum thread here) but I did it via the web GUI (ran Firefox) not SSH. I also copied all data from my drives to the Synology unit, and did all this with both PMS server apps not running. Once I rolled the .tar and moved it to the DS1019, I extracted it in the proper folder, checked that permissions were correct, and then reinstalled the Synology PMS.

But I started PMS on the DS, I get the Failed to run package service error. Pulling the Plex Media Server.log, this is what I get:

Looks like I have a corrupt database? How can I fix this? I also browsed Failed to run the package service but didn’t see anything other than “start over” without any old data. In my case, I have a working PMS on the Mac so I’m hoping to not start over, just got to figure out why the data is corrupted.

Well shucks, sorry I missed that link in the FAQ section. Followed, bingo, all good now.
