Failed to write file: File name to long

Server Version#: 1.21.2.3997 (try to update to 1.21.3.4046)
Player Version#: N/A
When trying to upgrade the mac-server version to the latest (this error was already present with the previous update 1.21.3.4031) I get an error that it can not write to a file because of a to long file name (see screenshot)

By downloading manually the package and overwriting the current installation, I was able to update. Suggestion found by this topic: Last 4 updates from Plex have failed
But please find a solution.
