Hoping someone can help me out here. I have a plexpass account on my main account. We have a lot of TV shows for both my wife and I. I don’t want to see any of her shows when I log into Plex so when Plex home came out I thought it was the best thing. I simply created an account for her and labeled all her shows and set that as a filter for her account.
Perfect she now only sees her shows. In order to get the same affect for me, I created another account in the family and gave myself a label which allowed me to only see my shows. So now we have three accounts The master account which has everything and then a his and hers account that filters to just the shows each of us watch. We actually have a 4th account which are the shows we watch together at night.
This was working great however I am now traveling a lot for work. I use the sync feature to sync shows to my device. This works well however because all the family accounts aren’t plex pass accounts I can’t set them to Sync (my account of just my shows). The only way i know to do this is through the master account which no longer has my watch statuses of all the shows i am watching under my family account.
I don’t like the master account because to see only my shows i would have to go into TV Shows section each time and filter on my label.
Any one have a solution for this (other than buying myself another plex pass account)
