Feature: Downloads - Multiple Issues During Use

iOS: 14.8.1 (iPhone Xr 64gb)

Issue #1: Movies with multiple files (CD1 / Part1 / Iteration1 / etc) do not download entirely. Only the 1st file, in sequence, is downloaded and the movie is flagged as fully downloaded.

Issue #2: Issues during downloading… restarting, in a loop. Plenty of storage on the device, but the file states “Error” and then restarts.

Issue #3: Some movies appear to download successfully but do not play. The loading icon (circle) appears and does not proceed.

Issue #4: Noticed that movies had only left audio output only, in mono to the right channel.

I tend to travel more often than not. The fact that this is viewed as somehow “Better” than Sync still alludes me. I’ve had nothing but issues with this “new feature” and it’s unreliable at best. I rely on Plex being what I need during my flights. Here lately, I’ve had to resort to using Youtube or Netflix (which is not my preferred medium).

I highly recommend NOT removing Sync at all until the issues above (and any others) are resolved for the Downloads feature.
