Hey, don´t know if it needs another app for this. But ist should be possible like a push notification in the Background. When you start PMS the machine calls home and so Plex do know what Clients you use and can notify them. Or PMS ask by starting up Plex HQ what Clients are connected to the PMS. …

Why would you need a notification when the server is up and running? Just open the app and start streaming. Much more interesting would be a notification for the sevrer owner when the server is down, IMHO.

Because my Server isn´t running 24/7 or so. I often have to write or call: " I call/write again when the Server is up and running fine" All kind of notification would be fine and shouldn´t be that hard to implement. (Added some ideas for notifications. In this case Otto´s)

2021 clean-up: as for the “server down” alerts… there’s an existing feature suggestion covering this. Therefore I suggest to focus this request on the remaining scope in order to avoid overlapping and in consequence distracting/dispersing of votes.
