How often have you press the Stop icon instead of the Pause button ?
I can't count how often, it's especially worse on mobile, Phone or Tablet as finger are less precise.
It sounds like an easy fix and I really hope it happens soon!

Which client? I've honestly never had an issue on the windows phone or windows 8 apps, but it could be different on others. You need to be more specific.
Android, but I believe it's on all platform. Usability wise I think the pause/play button should be bigger then the other ones.

Definitely not the case on all platforms. It does seem like it's a bit cramped on android though. I've attached a screenshot of the windows phone 8 app, which I'm guessing is kind of what you're looking for.
