Amazon allows for unlimited cloud storage for $59.99 a year. https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/home?ref_=cd_primepage_cdlogo
I would like to request that it is supported by Cloud Sync.

+1
Me too
Count me in for this too.
It is essentially useless for photos assuaged in Photoshop, etal. Because the filesizes are larger than 2 gigs..... Plus, many of my video files also exceed the limit. I'll play with for the three months ans see if they change any of these limits.
+1 but only if amazon raises their file limit to 5GB
It looks like as long as you use the desktop application, there is no file size limit.
EDIT: NEVERMIND
Requirements for Uploading Photos & Videos
Cloud Drive supports upload of most files with the following exceptions:
I think this would be a great option even if the file size is limited at this point in time. Im sure Amazon will up the size limit at some point, better to get ahead of the game.
- Videos must be less than 20 minutes long.
Came here to ask for this, left sad that limits prevent it. I wonder if they even have an API for this.
The 20 minute limit only prevents you from playback through the Amazon video player. You can still upload and download video files greater than 20 minutes long.
*edit: i use the desktop application for the upload. I don't know if there's a limitation through web browser uploading
Just tried uploading a larger video via the api, wasn't happy with it...File was 4.5gig.
It's true...I've been uploading my LARGE files via the Desktop App and haven't had any issues. The largest file so far is 11.1GB and it went up just fine! Unless it's lying to me, seems to be doing alright.
Any other successes?
Here's a screenshot of a 7GB+ one:

Agreed. Amazon Cloud does have a 2Gb Limit but only in a browser. If you download the desktop app like you should probably do anyway, it won't be a problem. I have been looking into a way to have plex use Amazon Cloud but my idea was using CIFS to mount Amazon Cloud and having plex read from the cloud as if it was a hdd in my system.

Have you had success with that yet?

I just answered my own question and at the same time just made Amazon Cloud Drive a lot more useful. Download:
http://www.netdrive.net/download.htmlNetdrive Beta 2.5.0 Beta8 which supports the Amazon API and allows you to mount the Cloud drive as a normal windows drive letter.
After installing it and doing a reboot I was immediately able to download a 10GB file and it played back perfectly!!!
I also like the fact of being able to use Explorer to drag and drop files to nested Cloud folders and being able to see your transfer rates.
This is great! I’m now a very happy camper.

Awesome find CARLO!!! To answer your question above - I was able to download 1 file larger than 5GB, was painfully slow. Who cares now! I'm just happy you shared NetDrive! I'm going to jump on that with you and test it out for myself. Thanks a lot! If you're able ot mount the Amazon Cloud Drive as a regular drive, I wonder what the possibilties would be of pulling media from that cloud into Plex as if it were reading from a regular drive. I did that for some time with Bitcasa (while it was still worth it), and it worked pretty well.
It’s still in beta and does have some issues. Every once in a while you’ll get an IO error.
Down the road it could function much like Bitcasa did.
Here’s two other software that supports Amazon Cloud Drive but differently.
SyncBackPro www.2brightsparks.com/syncback/sbpro7-intro.html
AllSync http://allwaysync.com/
I’m probably going to make use of SyncBackPro to store copies of my libraries on both Amazon Cloud Drive and OneDrive.
But NetDrive makes it easy to pull down anything you’ve already uploaded that is over 5GB. I’ve tested it with several large MP4 and BluRay 3D Rips that were over 40GB in size.

so if another program can access whatever size files could plex do so as well? i'd be very interested in support for amazon cloud
