Any news or updates on this? Combined with a VPS this would be huge!
I just looked into it. Ive been able to mount Amazon Cloud Drive with NetDrive, but sadly its only a 30 day trial with a $45 key purchase. Was wondering if anyone has found a better, maybe open sourced and free solution?
Well worth the purchase.

I wouldn't hold my breath. This is why people pay for Plex features.
So net drive is a possible solution for Windows, but I have seen a few others, all for windows. Anyone know of any for MAC that will let you mount the amazon cloud drive and have it show up in finder like a SMB connected drive?

No, and I've been looking as well (my PMS at home is a macmini). What I love about Netdrive is you can connect as a local drive...so backing up to Crashplan would work. Not for my media mind, but I have a good 800GB in photos.
Ok, so I shelled out for the NetDrive2 ($45) and Amazon Cloud Drive ($59). All seems to going great, unlimited storage for all my media files, access to all those media files from the cloud, and playback is just a couple seconds more than if hosted locally. My only issue that I seem to have is that Plex takes a long time to index the Amazon Cloud Drive. Seems to be more of checking each file for what its quality is kind of thing. Playback for the scanned media is almost instantaneous, counting a second or two more for it be pulled down from the cloud, the issue at hand is when navigating to a TV Show or Movie that I have not yet looked at, it seems to take 10-15 seconds to pull the media up and check its resolution and create a screen grab of its first frame. No issue with locally hosted media. Any one have a suggestion as to a fix other than to click through each piece of media (We talking 11TB+)? I doesn't happen if I have already viewed the media page.
Hi guys!
You read this line in netdrive Download page?
"After trial period
Even after the trial period, you can continue using NetDrive
but you will be limited to one network drive only and a banner
over the windows explorer indicating the trial is over."
if i read good, after the trial period, i able to use the program, but i see a banner and i able connect only one network drive (it is enough to me, i only use Amazon Cloud)
Other question, if i upload my movies to the cloud, the Amazon scan the files…?

+1 for Amazon Cloud Drive support :-bd
Please add S3 API support to Plex!
Using Netdrive to mount Amazon Cloud Drive as a local drive in a cloudatcost VPS server, I was able to make something perfect for streaming outside my home network. Upload bandwidth is no longer a issue this way.
+1, would like the amazon cloud connect too please.
