Title: [Feature Request] Dedicated “Archive” or “Snooze” for Continue Watching Row
Problem Statement:
The “Continue Watching” row often becomes cluttered with shows or movies that users intend to finish but are not actively viewing at the moment. Currently, the only options are to leave them on the home screen, mark them as “Watched” (which ruins progress tracking), or “Remove from Continue Watching” (which can make them difficult to find later).
Proposed Solution:
Introduce an Archive function for items in the Continue Watching state. This would allow users to move a partially watched series or movie into a “hidden” status that does not appear on the Home Screen but maintains the user’s exact “Time Remaining” and “Next Episode” data.
Key Features:
-
Manual Archive Toggle: Add an “Archive” option to the context menu (long-press or vertical ellipsis) alongside “Mark as Watched.”
-
Archive Library/Section: A dedicated area within the “Library” or “Home” settings where users can view their archived progress.
-
Smart Unarchive: Automatically move a series back to the active “Continue Watching” row if a new episode is released or if the user manually starts playing an archived item.
-
Auto-Archive Logic: (Optional) A server-side setting to move items to the Archive automatically after

weeks of inactivity.
Benefits:
-
Cleaner UI: Users can focus on the 3-5 things they are actually watching this week.
-
Reduced Friction: Eliminates the need for users to manually search for “paused” shows they haven’t touched in months.
-
Better Retention: Encourages users to finish content later rather than forgetting it exists after removing it from the home screen.
