Shows disappear from "Continue Watching"

I have several TV series in progress. The next unwatched episode for each series is already available in plex. After I watch an episode in the series, the next episode briefly appears in “Continue Watching”, then it disappears. Playing the next episode is not convenient. I either need to search the name or browse the alphabetical list of all series. Is there some way to keep the items in “Continue Watching” forever?

Does the episode still indicate it is unplayed when you go to it?

Is this behavior the same ( with it disappearing) on the home screen as well as the TV library recommended tab?

Solution: You can the configure the lifetime of “Continue Watching” items in the server settings under “Library.” It’s called “Weeks to consider for Continue Watching”

Yes to both. Thanks for your reply.

Originally, I was in a client app, and I dug through all the settings and couldn’t find a way to customize it anywhere. I should have token a closer look at the server settings before posting here. In the library section, I found “Weeks to consider for Continue Watching,” and have increased the number to be over 100 years.

Now after changing the setting, I can finally see all my in-progress shows. I’ll consider this resolved.

If you jump from shows to shows and have a lot of in-progress items, consider increasing the number of items that can show in “Continue Watching” as well. I hear it can be bad if you make this too high, but I don’t think it’d hurt to increase the number to 50 or so (what I did).
