Am I correct to assume there is only the restriction for all users, and not individual? IE: I only want to limit specific users on my plex, not all for concurrent logins. I only see the settings/network/ option that changes all users.
Hmm I have it enabled I will need to see if it is enforced. Does anyone know of any logs that could be generated or error saying you have more then one stream going on?

scroll about halfway down the page, if you have a Plex Pass.
I was able to purchase a lifetime Plex Pass (about 1 year ago), and recently (1 day ago), finally updated to v 1.9, so I donât know if it was available in v1.5.* because I never had the need with as little as it got used with all my Internet connection ups and downs over the past year due to financial troubles keeping up with the bill. I had a friend whoâs running a server ask me about it tonight, so started searching the forum and came across this 3 year old post.
I hope this helps anyone else from here on out.
Would love to see this feature move to the User Restrictions vs being a Global setting. A lot of the limiting settings should migrate to User Restrictions.

I have streams per user limited to 1 each. I know this works because I get a call every so often when a friend was streaming on his PC, failed to close it correctly and wonders why he canât move to his TV:
Settings > Server > Network > Remote streams allowed per user: 1
Is this not what weâre looking for?

Not what weâre looking for AmazingRando24. As the title suggests, the desire is for a limit per user account versus the setting you mentioned that is applied to all users.
For instance I have mine set to allow 1 remote stream per user but some of my users are allowed more than 1 necessitating me adding their IP address to my LAN in settings so the limit is unenforced for them (until their IP changes).

I agree. Iâd like to see this feature.
Im dying for this to happen. I only have 12mb upload. Being able to manage users limits PER USER server side, is 100% required.
So when I want to remote stream something myself (twice a week). I have one user X, that has multiple devices and lots of kids. That way i could set user X to say max of 6mb, they can then still watch upto 3ish streams or one decent one. That way other users, who only stream one stream dont have to be limited down to 2mb, and every time plex updates clients i dont have to convince people to go and edit their settings.
Nothing yet? I need a feature like this.
