Please include a process for backing up Plex Registry Values. Any of the following options I would consider implementation of this function:
A. Backup Registry during Plex DB Backup Maintenance Task in the same Backup location.
B. Maintain copies of stored values from Registry within Plex DB (not asking to change reference, just include a Table where these values are kept in parity during maintenance tasks)
C. Maintain stored “Last Known Good Configuration” of Registry in a location within Plex’s Local AppData.
D. Log Registry Values at creation and Log updates to Registry Values
The purpose of this would be to save the extra headache of admins needing to restore a Plex instance where the OS drive has been lost. It centralizes the Backup process Plex (one location to care about instead of two) or at the least provide a one stop location for admins to obtain the data where only the non-optional AppData is backed up.
