I like live TV, but I don’t like a lot of the other stuff that comes with it, like commercials. Ever just want to have continuous playback, even when you’re not always paying attention? I realize we have a feature already where you can add items to a playlist and auto-play the next. This could be the next iteration of that which doesn’t require that you explicitly create a playlist (but you still could).
- Automatically curated channels with your media (AI driven?)
- Template based curation to enable community driven collections (though you’d have to have access to the media in order to stream it, maybe the system would skip / not show media you don’t have present).
- Template / collection system could show media titles you don’t own, so you could work toward adding those titles.
- Fancy timeline grid layout like you see with SlingTV or any other modern tv guide system.
