Is it possible to edit file raiting parametr through plex?
In some point it will improve search in share like search files through playlists created by rate. Like for downloading content for dummy os( mp3pleers, mp4 pleers…) or birning dvd - cd
I’m not 100% sure I get your point… but yes, you can edit the user rating for artists, albums and individual songs through Plex. Plex also lets you sort/filter by user rating and therefore create dynamic smart playlists that are based (and automatically updated) based on your rating.
You can do this e.g. via Plex Web and assign a 0 (zero) to 5 star rating for each item. If you haven’t rated a song, no stars will show – you’ll need to hover with your mouse over the respective song in order to edit the rating.
Ratings can also be edited from various clients – some of the mobile clients allow even a more detailed rating (half-star steps).
You totally right. On plex side rating works very nice. But on file system side there is no changes on file attribute rating.
So i can’t find rated files on disk for download it to flash drives or mp3 pleers which plex does not support. So for my cowon m2 and filo x3 i must find each song on disk and downlod them one by one.

You’ll have no luck with this particular feature request. Plex team has stated several times they have no intention of ever touching (changing) your actual media
