There are good reasons why people uncheck (disable) certain tracks within their iTunes music libraries and this is something they would most likely want to see reflected within Plex. It can’t be difficult to achieve this in the software code. When scanning through the iTunes Music Library.xml file during the importation process, all that is needed is for the PMS agent (or whatever) to look for the line “Disabled” in the metadata for each track and, when found, to ignore that track. Therefore, only the wanted tracks would be displayed in any Plex player. Of course, there would need to be an option in the PMS settings for switching this functionality on and off, just in case there are folks who actually want to listen to tracks they had disabled on iTunes!
