I’m getting to know the Photos portion of PLEX. I see a lot to like. I’d like to share an album with others. I can do that (I wish I could just invite them as guests instead of making an account). What I can’t seem to find is a way to display the album chronologically, oldest first! I can choose “Timeline” but the only way to view the timeline is newest first. If PLEX could add a feature like in Music where an up or down arrow chooses oldest versus newest all would be better - and easier to share. Thanks.
Another request would be for GPS OpenStreetMaps to be zoomable.
Since I posted my feature request I continue to learn more about PLEX Photos. The mobile App version presents a static map view when the circle i is tapped. In the MacOS browser version, you get a map that appears to be similar until you click the place marker in the center of that map. Doing that opens a full screen Google map that is zoomable.
Sure. Here are two examples. One is from PLEX within Safari on MacOS. Tapping the “i” enclosed by a circle gets you GPS and camera metadata. From there, if you click on the location pointer in the center of the map, a new browser tab/window will open and a full Google Maps (and I don’t think you can change the preference) view will allow you to Zoom In/Out at will.
In the upper right hand corner is the information “i”. Tapping that gives you GPS metadata, if it comes with the file, but the map presented here is not linked to Google or Apple Maps.
Thank you it really does! My hope is that you would be able to see other photos taken in the vicinity of this photo. I really appreciate the feedback though.
